Tomorrow morning my sister, mom and I are heading off to Roslyn, South Dakota. My dad has to stay home and work and because we are getting work done on the Monson family cabin, we are heading out early.
It has always been a thing that we go out to the lake on the 4th. Kind of like a tradition of getting together at Christmas. Usually my family and Grandma Dori go out. Becky (my aunt) her husband Jim, Deni, and Nic (when he isn't up in Alaska) come out most of the time. Nancy (another aunt) her sons Rudy and Chris (when he isn't in Washington) come out regularly also. Even though Lisa (one other aunt) and her husband Todd and their daughter Renae don't own part of the cabin they come out maybe once a year sometimes during the 4th. It is only my uncle Davey and his two daughters Tekla and Chisana that come out usually once a year because they live all the way up in Fairbanks, Alaska.
Well enough explanation of that, here are some pictures at the lake of my cousin Renae, Liz, and I last year to kind of get an idea of what I am talking about "being at the lake".

(If you are wondering, I always end with a last line movie quote. So here it goes)
All right! Saddle up! Let's get back in the war!

Ah, Fairbanks...reminds me of Into The Wild
